My husband, John, and I have four children and two grandsons. Michael lives in Florida and is pictured with his new wife, Hillary. My daughter Alicia and her husband John are parents to Jack, 6 and Ryan, 4 and (thankfully) they live locally. Kevin (a CPA, like both his parents) will be getting married May 1 and has moved back to the suburbs in anticipation of that. Tori lives downtown with her new Australian Cattle Dog. We have been parishioners of St. Francis Xavier forever and both my husband and I and all our children are SFX alumni! I am a change of career teacher. I am a CPA and worked in financial planning for many years. When I "retired" to stay home with my children, I taught Gym and Swim at the RichPort YMCA for over 20 years. This rekindled my love of working with children and I went back to school to get my Masters in Education, I have been teaching at SFX for over 10 years, first in 6th grade and now in 4th. As you may surmise from my first career, my passion is math and my hope is that I can instill a love of math while making math fun and that all 4th graders leave loving math! I believe all children should be challenged while learning to challenge themselves. Although I officially retired this summer, I am so excited to still be able to teach math to the 4th graders!
